Did you know that there is a "like" button next to all the book ratings stars on Amazon? Even more, did you know that having that button liked is just as important as the reviews themselves? There is also an area all the way at the bottom of the Amazon page where you are able to click buttons to tag where you think these books belong (paranormal, YA, Teen, paranormal romance ect.).
These small tasks make a world of difference for the author and it only take a few seconds to do! Doing this for the authors is just as important as the wonderful reviews you do! Why? After a certain amount of likes and tags Amazon will start recommending these books to others whom are searching in the genres that said books are in! Therefore giving the authors precious books more exposure on an easier level!!! Thus in return, you have happy authors with a higher self esteem and enthusiasm to write even more wonderful books for us to read! The authors write for us to step into an imaginary world outside of our own, so reward them for it! Review, like and tag every book you purchase!!!! Show the authors you love what they do for us! <3
To be entered to win the bookmark I have to be able to get a hold of you so please make sure you are following this blog!

ReplyDeleteYou rock!!!!! Thanks so much for helping us authors out the way that you do. Such simple things that most readers just don't know about xx
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU!!! I am new to your blog, but following now! I found you due to this wonderful post!
ReplyDeleteI am an author, (I write the venomous vampire series ALMOST HUMAN) and like most authors, I love to write so much more than I enjoy marketing. I don't always feel comfortable telling everyone "Please go 'like' and 'tag' my book". However, it is an enormous help to authors and we truly do appreciate it!
If you like a book, writing a review is the best way to express that, but even if you don't have time to write a review - likes and tags are still a great way to support your favorite authors. It does make a difference!
Thank you Jennifer! I'll be sure to tell my readers to check out your blog!!!
I read, review, and try to promote indie authors and books as much as possible. I appreciate and really enjoy the indie viols I have read thus far. :)
