What you thought
you knew about the BIBLE…
is about to CHANGE.
What if you found out you were the
granddaughter of the first woman, no not Eve, but Lilith? After 150 years Dika
Edens, the oldest of 4 girls each destined to live forever finds out that very
thing. She is not sure if it is a curse or a gift from the Gods. All she knows
is the man that has informed her of this has way too much guilt on his
shoulders regarding her and her past. Chrome is her Guardian but that does not
mean he can protect her from everything. He should be the first one to know
that - since he is the one telling her that she must save the world.
My name is Dika, I am an American
born Hungarian, Polish, Spanish Gypsy with a little bit of something special,
born right here in the green state of Oregon, home of the Beavers. History
would be changed in a matter of a few words spoken from the man that has been
haunting my dreams. My sisters and I need to save the world and if we don't the
Universe will cease to exist as we know it.
My name is Chrome Jai, Dragon
Guardian to Dika Edens, created to protect her from the evils of the first
human woman mother of mankind. I will protect her as she fights to save the
humans, but her first assignment will be to make it through the first 48 hours
and find her Aunt and her Grandmother.
We will go together to hell and
back just to fix the mess of the Gods and man.

What People Are Saying About It Completely sucked into this book....and that is no
pun towards the vampires involved. Everyone, religious or not, has heard the
major stories of the Bible....Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, and Samson and
Delilah. This book is an incredible spin off those stories. Main characters Dika and Chrome are amazing. As
Dika who views herself as plain an ordinary in comparison to her sisters is
adored by her dragon Chrome. Any woman would consider herself blessed and lucky
to be described as Chrome describes Dika. This book is action packed and now I am thoroughly
disappointed that I have to wait for the next installments!" –Jeannie

“This author is currently one of my new favorites! Her stories are fast paced and well
written. I had to force myself to put my

I was curious, when I read the blurb, as to how this spin would be a successful
PNR, but Ms. Schroder makes it work. There are some typographical errors, but I
was so engrossed in the story that it didn't really matter much. The heroine,
Dika, grows throughout the story and the hero, Chrome Jai, is protective and
strong... I can't wait to read the next book. I didn't get enough of the
Daughters... I almost wish I'd found Thunderstorm after the author had released
a few more in the series... Can I have more please? - Mandymonkey – Amazon

“I was lucky
enough to read an ARC of Thunderstorm (Daughters of Eden) and all I can
honestly say about it is this:
WOW!!!
I wasn't sure what to expect at first...I think we are all a little nervous,
picking up an author we may not have heard of before. Now? Yeah- counting my
LUCKY STARS!
From the very first pages, J.M. Schroder has her fingers into you and you are
helpless to escape!
This wasn't at all what I'd expected. I ADORE Dika! She grows and as she learns
who/what she is, I felt like I, the reader, was right there with her.
I would also, RIGHT NOW, like to ask Santa to add one Chrome Jai to my
Christmas list!
This story is truly an original and honestly, I'm not sure five stars is even
enough to rate it! TEN STARS wouldn't get us half way there!
I'm telling you right now..yeah...YOU! That person who is reading this and
waffling...make the purchase! You will not be sorry you did!!” – Lisa Morgan

Northwest. She studies Court Reporting at Sumner College in Portland, Oregon.
Her love of writing took off in her junior high school years in Mrs. Eckert’s
Creative Writing Class. Now she is sharing the stories in her head with
everyone because there are way too many to keep to herself. If not writing,
seeking out readers, interacting and thanking her amazing supporters, or daydreaming
about her next story or being a very exhausted mother to 2 young boys and a
teenage daughter, Jennie loves most to be playing with her family – indoors and
out and reading.
Blurb-- Jillian had a plan: celebrate the end of her first year of college with an amazing summer full of beaches, barbeques, and bonfires. When her mom insists she needs a summer job, and her boyfriend spends more time with his band than with her, Jillian’s plans go down the drain.
Grant had a plan: finish his Masters, get a great job at Google, and get the hell out of Georgia. He might be giving up some of the fun of his youth, but he knows his all work and no play method would be worth it when his dreams came true.
But things never go according to plan.
When temptation brings them together and tragedy tears them apart, Jillian and Grant will be forced to choose: fight for their dreams, or fight for each other.

"When seventeen year-old Isis Martin is having trouble sleeping
due to perturbing dreams of a horrific growling beast, she decides
to confront her fear. But what Isis discovers is something other
than a menacing entity.
The human-like creature offers Isis assurance that he is not a figment
of her imagination. Unwilling to accept his avowal, Isis sets his words
to contest by asking the entity to prove himself - a dare, he readily welcomes.
It is in her dreams that Isis innocently stumbles upon the silent existence of the divine lineage of those that man has long forgotten.
In a quaint town, deep in south Texas, this story leads Isis onto the path of impermissible love and captivating life-changing truths. Isis Martin's
journey is sure to leave any reader ravenous for more."
Small little teaser :)
“You haven’t even asked me what my name is,” he finally spoke. “Oh. Sorry.” My face grew bright red. I didn’t have the guts to ask him now that he had put me on the spot. We continued walking down the hallway. Right before we turned the corner he stopped walking. “I see you’re the shy type.” He tried to analyze me. “Not at all.” I threw my hair back over my ear. He started advancing toward me and pinned me against the white hallway wall. My heart started to race. “Well, aren’t you going to ask me what my name is?” he pressed. “Don’t…don’t try anything. I can scream.” I could feel my throat drying up. “The security guards will come right away if you pull anything.” His laugh echoed against the hallway walls. “I just want you to know my name.” I took a side step, but he was quick to follow. “I’m going to tell you my name, since you’re too shy to ask.” My heartbeat was at my neck, while my mind sounded off all the things I should do: “I should yell. I should punch him in the gut.” I was frozen like a deer in front of headlights. “It’s David…” He slowly leaned in toward my face, “…and I’m real.” I suddenly recognized that voice. I opened my mouth in an effort to scream at the top of my lungs. He pressed his hand over my mouth muffling my poor attempt at crying out for help. “I win,” he grinned. My entire body trembled frantically as I felt the blood plummet from my head and down to my feet. I was no longer breathing. I started to feel a cold numbness. Everything turned black. My legs caved in taking my consciousness with them.
My Review
First, let me say I had this book on my TBR list for awhile and wanted to read it a long time ago but as a blogger and doing book tours I just did not have the time I needed to get it in there. So when the chance to do this blog tour I was more than happy to oblige! I've spoken to Author Nely Cab a few times and knew based on her personality that I would enjoy her book and she did not disappoint me. I will admit, it took me a small amount of time to get fully sucked into the story but it was worth the time!!!!!
This story was different then most. Isis was suffering a severe case of Insomnia, not because she could not sleep but because she FEARED it! The creature who haunts her dreams frightens her so much that she's really starting to look worse for wear and her friends, family and doctor are urging her to take sleeping aids to sleep! Isis REALLY does not want to do this! Everyone thinks if she faces this dream it will go away! *Snorts* Oh, boy where they right! Her dream becomes a reality! Then the story REALLY get's good!
David knows he should not be letting himself known to Isis, it's after all against the rules to be involved with humans. Something about Isis has him captivated to where not only does he watch her in her dreams he chooses to meet her in reality by enrolling in her High School! He after all was challenged to prove he was real, by Isis herself in her last dream. So, really it's her own fault! Right? No? Oh, okay. Anyhow...moving on...
David can't help pursuing Isis. Charming her, protecting her and eventually giving her a gift that is forever and could possibly cost him his life.
Isis is recovering from a heart break....her boyfriend broke up with her VIA text! Really? Text? (Cowards, I tell you! COWARDS!) She's sleep deprived, frightened and confused! David becoming a reality is just icing on the cake! She's told about things she thought was PURE MYTH and always believed it just that...a Myth...until said myth is standing right in front of her! She's now learning of things she never thought possible, trying hard and failing miserably to ignore the handsome Davids charms. Her life has really just rotated a whole 360!
This story is not all about David and Isis developing relationship. There's danger lurking everywhere! Isis ex boyfriend ( you know, the cowards who dumped her via text ) is back and he's wanting her back. Something's not right though. He's acting strange, drugged, talking to people whom are not there....and violent.....
David's mother loves Isis, but senses something different about her. Unknown to her.
What is Isis? Why is Gabrielle (the texting dude) acting the way he is and trying to harm Isis? Will the gift David gave Isis, eventually turn him into something that could cause his death along with hers? Can their developing love actually have a happy ending? Oooooohhhh well, I don't even know all the answers (only some of them) because the fabulous Nely Cab leaves you screaming "Wait! What? Noooooo........" (I'm not biter about this...nope) that you just have to patiently (or impatiently) wait for book 2 to answer. Yep, I'll be waiting...

Example Review Remarks
"Under a painted sky is the perfect name for this book. I fell in love with it since the very beginning, not only with the characters, but with the place and the way it makes you feel as if you were there."~Lula V
"Under A Painted Sky may be the debut novel by Jenna Roads but it doesn't feel like it. She was able to write a wonderfully descriptive love story with a fun supernatural mystery." ~Katherine
"Jenna Roads did an outstanding job on her first novel. It was hard to put the book down (I did only one time)" ~Taylor L

The
scorching tale of one girl, two brothers and a love triangle…that’s not.
Olivia Townsend is nothing special.
She’s just a girl working her way through college so she can return home to
help her father run his business. She’s determined not to be the second woman
in his life to abandon him, even if it means putting her own life on hold. To Olivia,
it’s clear what she must do. Plain and simple. Black and white. But clear
becomes complicated when she meets Cash and Nash Davenport. They’re brothers.
Twins.
Cash is everything she’s always wanted in a guy. He’s a dangerous, sexy bad boy
who wants her in his bed at any cost. He turns her insides to mush and, with
just one kiss, makes her forget why he’s no good for her. Nash is everything
she’s ever needed in a guy. He’s successful, responsible and intensely
passionate. But he’s taken. Very taken, by none other than Marissa, Liv’s rich,
beautiful cousin. That doesn’t stop Olivia from melting every time he looks at
her, though. With just one touch, he makes her forget why they can never be
together.
Black and white turns to shades of gray when Olivia discovers the boys are
hiding something, something that should make her run as far and as fast as she
can. But it’s too late to run. Olivia’s already involved. And in love. With
both of them. Both brothers make her heart tremble. Both brothers set her body
on fire. She wants them both. And they want her. How will she ever choose
between them?
My Review 4.0 Stars
Cash or Nash? However to choose! Olivia has been burned before by the "Bad Boy" type of man and knows no matter what, she can't refrain her attraction to them. So her attraction to Cash is no surprise (heck, I can't blame her. I was even attracted to this bad boy). Her attraction to Cash's brother Nash, the responsible, sweet, everyone should own (errrr I mean, love) could prove to be just as dangerous. Or so she thought................
I feel for Olivia, I do! I know that almost every female has had feelings for more then one man in her life at least ONCE! Don't even try to deny it, you know I'm right! (High school, college years? Yeah, you remember..What you said now? Rut-Oh) While reading this book even I was feeling her confusion and could feel the emotional roller coaster ride she was on. I can't give away any secrets but I will tell you, she does give in to Cash or Nash, maybe both or does she just walk away?!?! Bwa-ha-ha-ha, that did not help you much, did it?
This story is not just about whom to chose, there's a lot of twists and turns you really don't see coming (plus, if you're like me, you will want to knock a certain cousin out)! Life long secrets and an tragedy is uncovered that leads Olivia into a very dangerous venture that leaves both her heart and life in deep trouble!
Did I mention, steamy? No? Well..........it is!
